Short But Mighty: Sleeves with a 3D-Finish

The newest costume designs are bringing the sleeves back into the limelight: Impressive feathers, long satin bands, 3D appliqued flowers,  sweeping ruffles, and  puffed out   ostrich feather cuffs are drawing everybody’s attention to the arms and wrists of the woman on the dancefloor. These embellishments are currently very popular used with ¾-sleeves. However, they also work fine as separete cuffs together with sleeveless dresses.

What I have spotted when admiring Ieva Zukauskaite’s recent costume might not be a huge trend, but a really cute top up for any kind of outfit. The dancer refines her red dress with two very original details, one of which is a dragonfly brooch and the other one a frog brooch, both polished with jewelry. These two cheeky unexpected extras served as subtle eye catcher, directing the glance towards the neckline while giving her outfit an especially individual look.
